We’re excited to announce the return of our Lamppost Banner Art Contest – and we want YOU to be part of it!
✅ Who can enter?
All ages of Shelby County residents and those who work in the county. Multiple entries per artist are welcome. No cost to enter!
✅ Artwork Guidelines:
- Use any medium you love – just submit your art digitally.
- High-resolution, print-ready files (minimum 150 dpi).
- Final banners will be 2' x 3' vertical, so your design must scale to those dimensions.
- Entries that don’t meet these requirements cannot be considered.
✅ Deadline:
Submit your artwork by Friday, February 27, 2026, to admin@ShelbyMainStreet.com.
✅ Selection Process:
- 13 winning designs will be chosen by community vote in March 2026.

Banners will be displayed on lampposts along Main Street, Washington Street, and cross streets starting early May 2026.

By submitting artwork to Shelby Main Street for the Downtown Lamppost Banner Art Contest, the artist grants Shelby Main Street full permission to use, reproduce, modify, and display the submitted image in any way deemed appropriate. This includes, but is not limited to, printing, digital use, marketing, and promotional purposes. The artist acknowledges that no compensation will be provided for the use of the artwork beyond the opportunity to participate in the contest and have their work displayed if selected.
